BlueRock Diamonds () has sold a 20.72 carat diamond unearthed in September for US$236,000. It is the highest value achieved to date for a single stone form the Kareevlei mine.
Rockfire Resources () has hit a large sulphide zone at the Plateau gold deposit in Queensland. The sulphide layer has similar rock types to the neighbouring Mt Wright mine, which contains a million ounces.
AFC Energy’s () hydrogen powered 72kWh, off-grid Electric Vehicle charging system is on target for commercial launch in December. An agreement has also been signed with an international manufacturing group to assess an ammonia-to-power off grid platform.
